Now we're finally talking some serious juice. There have been measly <2000mAh models floating around everywhere, but this one might actually be worth carrying.
ZAGG, the people with the invisibleSHIELD skins for gadgets, has a 6000mAh extended battery that works with any device that charges with a USB cable. The ZAGGsparq 2.0 has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery; the power plug to recharge the unit is built in to the ZAGGsparq 2.0, so there’s no extra cable to carry. There are two USB ports – the top one is optimized for Apple products and the bottom is optimized for standard USB. The ZAGGsparq has enough power to completely recharge a typical smartphone about four times and to bring an iPad from 0% to 60% in the same time as the standard Apple charger. There’s an LED display to show the amount of power available in the ZAGGsparq 2.0. You can charge multiple devices at once: maximum output is 2000mA @ 5V. The ZAGGsparq 2.0 is 3.5 x 3.5 x 1 inches and weighs about 8 ounces. It’s available from ZAGG for $99.99.
