I feel obligated to make some “eat the rich” joke here, but I’m not sure if it is in good taste…
There are plenty of people who are up in arms when it comes to the use of leather in fashion, but could Nancy Wu’s take on Chanel’s classic quilted bag give them the vindication they’ve been seeking? The product designer hand-stitched sheets of beef jerky to create what she describes as a “highly desirable, lo-fi” accessory that harks back to the classic Chanel “baguette”.
