Although its taunted as a work vehicle, I think this practical model is quite attractive. Sure, its not a cobblestone prowling Vespa, but it is not without its charm and several well thought out practical features.
India needs a go-anywhere, two-wheeled rig that can handle a load of packages, bags of produce, and enough seating for a family of four. The Hero RNT delivers on all those fronts, and throws in a diesel engine, two-wheel drive, and a portable generator, just for good measure.
Hero is India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, and the RNT concept was designed from the onset to appeal to the millions of motorists that use bikes for damn near everything. And it’s pure function sacrificed at the altar of form.

The scooters big seat stretches back and can probably fit more than two riders, while sari guards join parcel shelfs with tie-downs mounted in the rear and the platypus-like snout. Above that is a removable LED headlight that can act as an portable work light, and an optional generator can turn the RNT into a rolling workspace.
